What’s your vector, Victor?

In the media blitz surrounding the funeral ceremonies for President Reagan here in D.C. over the past few days you might have missed the fact that the Capitol building had to be evacuated on Wednesday. A small plane that could not be identified entered the restricted airspace over the city on a path dangerously close to Capitol Hill only an hour before the procession bringing the casket into the city was due to begin.
The plane turned out to be bringing Kentucky’s governor, Ernie Fletcher, into the city for the funeral, and was heading to Reagan National Airport to land. It’s enough to make you wonder, though, if someone somewhere wasn’t just a bit disgruntled at having to work at or fly into an airport named after the man who broke the Air Traffic Controllers Union.
